Great Heart Institute’s mission is to promote civic and personal virtue through the strengthening and expansion of classical, liberal arts education.
Its vision is to lead the classical education movement by engaging academics, thought leaders, and policymakers in ways
that promote holistic, character-centered education both inside and outside the classical world.
At Great Hearts, where you came from doesn’t matter; we’re focused on where you’re going. We are more than a growing charter network. We are a coalition of people committed to bringing the opportunity a classical education affords to children and young adults in communities across the country.
A truly classical, liberal arts education is the best way to produce well-rounded, thoughtful students whose intellectual capacities for precision, insight, and eloquence are developed through conducting experiments, solving math problems, exploring imaginative worlds, and producing fine art.
The Great-Hearted graduate is more than college- or career-ready. Each of our alumni is equipped with the ability to make wise decisions and the character necessary to ensure that everything they do improves their community and our world.
